The USC Research Catalyst Program (RCP) is designed to support faculty-led interdisciplinary research projects that demonstrate strong potential for return on investment in both research and scholarship. The program encourages innovation and societal impact by enabling initiatives across a diverse range of topic areas, including but not limited to artificial intelligence, instrumentation, institutional training planning, small business innovation research and technology transfer planning, preliminary studies, sustainability, and investigator-initiated projects. RCP is part of the broader efforts of USC’s Office of Research and Innovation to advance research and expand the reach of USC-led initiatives.
