The Fulbright Scholar Program's Research Chairs – General and Interdisciplinary award enables U.S. scholars, artists, and professionals to affiliate with leading Canadian universities and research centers for a semester. Recipients undertake independent or collaborative research, teach, guest lecture, mentor students, and engage with the host academic and broader community. The award is open to projects from all disciplines and is designed to foster cross-border understanding, advance research on local and global issues, and strengthen U.S.-Canada academic collaboration. Scholars can select from a range of host institutions and thematic chairs, each with unique research focus areas and opportunities for interdisciplinary engagement.
