This award is intended to foster cross-border academic exchange and deepen mutual understanding between the U.S. and Canada across a wide range of policy, law, and governance topics.

Seven distinct Research Chair positions are available at institutions such as the Balsillie School of International Affairs, McGill University, McMaster University, Université Laval, University of Guelph, and University of Windsor, each with its own thematic specialization. The program is open to early, mid-career, and senior academics, as well as professionals and community college faculty.
