Description
Administered by Fulbright Canada through the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program, these research chairs provide pre-arranged affiliations at Canadian universities. Scholars may pursue their own projects or collaborate on research important to the host university. The University of Manitoba chair covers science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The University of Windsor chair focuses on automobility and cybersecurity, including intelligent transportation systems, smart infrastructure, AI-driven vehicle security, and connected and autonomous vehicles.
The award supports research or combined teaching/research. Alongside their primary work, scholars can mentor students, contribute to curriculum development, give guest lectures and public talks, and participate in campus and community life. These exchanges aim to strengthen U.S.–Canada relationships and promote international understanding and cooperation.
