Description
The Nanovic Institute for European Studies at the University of Notre Dame provides annual Research Cluster Grants for multidisciplinary faculty projects that advance outstanding research, scholarship, or creative endeavor in European studies. Each cluster brings faculty together around an identified theme, and only themes that explicitly address the institute’s research priorities are currently considered.
Faculty must define the theme when proposing the project, but participants retain flexibility and autonomy to identify and shape its outcomes and outputs after an award. The program combines a shared thematic focus with room for the team to develop its work over the grant period. Projects should lead to a significant outcome within that period.
