This program provides financial support to Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at British Columbia institutions. The funding aims to foster research skills, leadership, and capacity among Indigenous scholars, while recognizing and accommodating financial, family, community, and cultural responsibilities. Awards are offered annually for Master's and Doctoral students, and biennially for Postdoctoral fellows.
