Description
The Cooley’s Anemia Foundation Research Fellowship Grant is designed to foster innovative research that advances the understanding or treatment of Thalassemia and its related complications. The program is open to both clinical and basic science investigators at the postdoctoral or junior faculty level, and welcomes applicants from around the world. Supported research areas include, but are not limited to, globin gene regulation, gene transfer, fetal hemoglobin production, hematopoietic stem cell research, bone marrow transplantation, iron chelation, and the study of endocrine and cardiac disorders associated with Thalassemia. The Foundation aims to improve patient outcomes by supporting promising early-career researchers and their institutions.
