Description
The Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST) offers postdoctoral Research Fellowships aimed at early-career scholars in the social and behavioral sciences. Fellows join a vibrant, interdisciplinary community and receive support to pursue their own research projects for two years. The program encourages candidates from anthropology, economics, evolutionary biology, history, mathematics, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, and related fields. Applicants should demonstrate both a strong disciplinary background and openness to interdisciplinary engagement, ideally complementing IAST’s research strengths.
Fellows are expected to actively participate in seminars, institutional events, and the annual retreat, and may contribute to the summer school in quantitative social sciences.
