Leverhulme Trust Research Fellowships are designed to enable experienced researchers based in the UK to complete substantial pieces of original research. The scheme is particularly aimed at scholars whose research activity has been constrained by routine duties, such as teaching or administration, offering them the chance to focus primarily on their research project for a period of 3 to 24 months. Proposals are welcomed from all disciplines, except for projects with a primary focus on medical or clinical research, or studies of disease, illness, and disabilities in humans and animals. The Trust encourages applications for projects with an international focus and funds approximately 100 fellowships annually.
