The Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowships provide substantial support to exceptional early-career researchers in engineering, enabling them to establish independent research careers and become future leaders in the field. The programme offers five years of funding, mentoring, and professional development opportunities, including access to the Academy’s Awardee Excellence Community. Fellows benefit from protected research time, reduced teaching/administrative duties, and opportunities to connect with leading engineers and peer awardees.
