The NCTE Research Foundation Grants support scholarly projects that advance the teaching and learning of language(s), literacy (literacies), and culture(s) at all educational levels. The program seeks to fund research that improves the quality of English language arts instruction, with a strong emphasis on diverse topics such as underrepresented populations, equity pedagogies, curriculum changes, student learning, school policy impacts, community literacies, home-school literacy relationships, after-school programs, and literacy practices within and beyond school settings.
