Description
The Spectrum Institute for Teaching and Learning (SITL) funds multiple competitive research grants annually for studies specific to the Spectrum of Teaching Styles. The program supports research that promotes and enhances scholarship on the framework’s theoretical constructs. Studies may address any school subject-matter area, including physical education, elementary classrooms, and secondary mathematics.
SITL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose goals include supporting small research grants that may lead to applications for larger federally funded research grants. Funding categories serve faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students. The program also connects funded research with SITL’s annual Workshop Series, where recipients present results from their study or series of studies via Zoom.
