    Description

The Society for Endocrinology’s Research Grant supports members’ research and audit activities in the pituitary and adrenal fields through the Marjorie Robinson Fund. Small grants and grants-in-aid cover project costs, pilot studies, and work needed to complete existing projects. The programme is particularly suited to unanticipated costs in the final stages of PhD or early career research, or collecting preliminary data to secure funding from national funding bodies.

Support can also include essential visits to other institutions to develop research or clinical skills, establish collaborations, or learn techniques. Pedagogical research in endocrinology is within scope when research outcomes are clearly justified, and directly related professional training courses may be supported exceptionally. The Society welcomes applications helping members re-establish research after a career break or change of field.
