The GBS/CIDP Foundation International Research Grants program funds innovative research projects focused on Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN), and related disorders. The Foundation supports both basic and translational science to improve understanding, diagnostics, and treatment options for these rare neurological diseases. Award types include Discovery Awards for complex research, Elevation Awards for smaller or partial projects, a dedicated MMN Elevation Award, and the prestigious Benson Fellowship for extended study in peripheral nerve research.
