Description
The Jain Foundation Research Grants program funds research projects that accelerate the development of treatments and cures for dysferlinopathies, including LGMD2B, LGMDR2, and Miyoshi Myopathy. The Foundation employs a non-traditional, collaborative funding model and actively supports projects in basic, translational, and clinical research that address disease mechanisms, diagnostics, and therapeutic interventions. All proposals are reviewed in-house by a specialized scientific advisory board, ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s mission to advance dysferlin research. The Foundation also provides researchers with access to unique resources, reagents, and a collaborative research community.
