    Description

New Jersey Health Foundation’s Research Grants Program supports early-stage research projects with exciting potential at its affiliated organizations. The program provides initial funding to initiate research and help applicants qualify for larger grants from other organizations to advance their work. It supports clinicians, faculty members, staff and other eligible personnel whose projects can use this early investment as leverage for continued external support.

Research Grants support projects at an earlier stage than NJHF’s Innovation Grants, which support ideas moving toward commercialization. Research examining how and why individuals behave and interact with each other and their environment generally belongs in the separate Community Health, Behavioral and Social Science, Social Service & Education Grants Program. Applicants uncertain about program fit may contact NJHF for clarification.
