Description
The Oxalosis and Hyperoxaluria Foundation (OHF) Research Grant Program supports investigations into the causes of hyperoxaluria and its treatment, with the ultimate goal of developing new diagnostics, treatments, and a cure. Its primary focus is improving understanding and clinical management of primary hyperoxaluria and oxalosis. Research addressing hyperoxaluria and oxalosis associated with other conditions and diseases is also considered.
The program assists both new and established investigators. OHF supports clinical, translational, and basic science research addressing disease mechanisms, novel treatment strategies and targets, biomarkers, and risk factors for stone formation and chronic kidney disease. Awards are made through a competitive process selecting the most meritorious projects.
