Description
The PKD Foundation Research Grants program funds basic, translational, clinical, and epidemiological research that benefits individuals affected by autosomal dominant (ADPKD) and autosomal recessive (ARPKD) polycystic kidney disease. The program aims to catalyze innovative projects that deepen understanding of PKD’s molecular mechanisms, accelerate therapeutic development, and improve patient outcomes. Proposals are encouraged in diverse areas including molecular pathobiology, gene therapies, cilia signaling, machine learning, extra-renal manifestations, drug delivery, and lifestyle interventions. Special consideration is given to research conducted in Canada and Australia.
