    Description

Saving tiny Hearts Society (StHS) funds early-stage research on congenital heart defects and related pediatric heart diseases. Since 2006, the Society has raised seed money for underfunded, lifesaving grassroots research, supporting unique hypotheses that build preliminary evidence for future scientific advances. Its investigator-initiated, peer-reviewed approach gives researchers freedom to pursue questions they believe are ready to address with available knowledge and techniques.

Projects may involve basic science, translational research, or clinical research. Proposals examining the impact of COVID-19 on congenital heart defects and related pediatric heart diseases are also welcome. The program seeks discoveries that reveal hidden causes and identify cures to prolong, improve, and save children's lives. Priority goes to well-designed, hypothesis-driven research that will benefit children and adults living with congenital heart disease.
