Description
The Research Impact Fund (RIF) aims to encourage Hong Kong academics to pursue research with tangible benefits for the wider community, promoting impactful and translational research projects. The scheme particularly supports collaborations that extend beyond academia, such as partnerships with government, industry, NGOs, and other research institutes. Proposals are evaluated on academic merit and potential research impact, with a strong emphasis on demonstrable contributions to society, economy, culture, policy, health, environment, or quality of life.
