Description
The Research in Oral Biology Award is part of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist Awards and is supported by Church & Dwight Company, Inc. Listed by the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR), it recognizes outstanding research in any field of oral biology not included in the other IADR Science Awards.
The award honors significant achievements in either basic sciences or applied clinical sciences, rather than supporting a proposed research project. Awardees are selected by the IADR Science Awards Committee, whose membership includes the Science Awards chair and the chair of each award’s subcommittee. The subcommittees consist of previous award recipients.
