Description
The Research & Innovation Office (RIO) Arts & Humanities Grant Program supports arts- and humanities-related scholarship, research and creative pursuits at CU Boulder. It funds projects with value to the arts, humanities and humanistic social sciences while contributing to applicants’ career development. The program recognizes these disciplines’ role at a public university in deepening connections, welcoming diverse perspectives and exploring what it means to be human.
Projects are assessed for their disciplinary significance and potential contribution within, and possibly beyond, their fields. Proposals should explain how the work complements or challenges existing scholarship, how success will be assessed, and whether results will reach the public through publication, exhibition, performance or other accessible avenues of knowledge sharing.
