Description
The Research Opportunity Seed Fund Competition, coordinated by the UF/IFAS Office of the Dean for Research in partnership with the University of Florida IFAS, is an annual internal funding program designed to catalyze innovative interdisciplinary research. The competition encourages new collaborations between UF/IFAS faculty and faculty from other UF colleges, with the goal of seeding projects that will lead to future external funding and high-impact scientific advancements. Projects must feature teams from at least two colleges who have not previously worked together on funded proposals, and must demonstrate novelty, meaningful contributions from all team members, and strong potential for future funding.
