Description
The Research Scholar Awards are the American Urological Association’s premier mentored research training opportunity, designed to recruit outstanding young investigators into urologic research and foster their career success. The awards support one- and two-year training periods for clinical and postdoctoral fellows and early-career faculty, combining project resources with mentorship and career development.
The AUA Office of Research administers the program, with funding from the Urology Care Foundation and partner organizations and sponsors. Research training spans all urologic disease areas and basic, translational, clinical, and health services/outcomes research. Independent peer review considers scientific merit and applicants’ potential to become research leaders.
