Description
The Fulbright Scholar Program supports academic exchange at Qatar University in Doha through teaching or a combination of teaching and research. All disciplines are welcome, with particular interest in technology, AI, cybersecurity, business, security, and energy. Scholars may teach undergraduate courses and undertake research of their choosing or designated by the host institution. Applicants should seek initial host agreement on the teaching/research balance and include it in the invitation letter.
Awardees are expected to advise faculty on curriculum development and program design, mentor students, and advise student research. Public talks and engagement with the host community complement the academic work, with opportunities to share expertise through local audiences and media. The award advances Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships between the United States and other nations and promoting international understanding.
