Description
The American Otological Society (AOS) Research Training Fellowship is a full-time, mentored research opportunity aimed at early-career clinicians and scientists committed to advancing the understanding, diagnosis, or treatment of hearing, balance, and related ear disorders. The fellowship, part of the AOS Research Fund, supports immersive research projects that may be too novel or early-stage for traditional funding sources. Projects can address a broad range of topics, including normal and disordered function of the cochlea, labyrinth, and central auditory or vestibular systems, provided the research ultimately benefits otological science and patient care.
The fellowship is designed to foster the development of research skills, generate preliminary data, and help launch successful academic research careers in otology and neurotology.
