Description
The Resh-Rosenberg Africa/Asia Travel Award supports travel to the Society for Freshwater Science (SFS) Annual Meeting for doctoral students and early-career researchers or professors in freshwater sciences. It funds meeting participation rather than a separate research project. Recipients must present their work through a talk or poster and attend the entire meeting.
Vince and Cheryl Resh established the award in 2025 to recognize the long-term collaboration and friendship of Vincent Resh and David M. Rosenberg. Rosenberg was a long-time SFS member, former Society President, and editor of Freshwater Science. Alongside the travel award, SFS provides complimentary meeting registration as a partial match.
