Description
The Camargo Fellowship is the Camargo Foundation’s flagship residency program for artists, scholars, and thinkers. Based in Cassis, France, it supports advanced research, experimentation, and interdisciplinary approaches in the arts and humanities. The program welcomes diverse practices and perspectives from around the globe, including collaborative and translation projects.
Fellowships provide time, space, and freedom to think, create, and connect during a 10-week residency. Exchanges among residents and the development of a collective spirit are distinctive features of the program. Since 1971, the Foundation has supported more than 1,500 individuals through its flagship program, combining opportunities for individual work with participation in a community of artistic and scholarly peers.
