Description
Ragdale's Residency Program offers artists from a wide range of disciplines—including dance, music, writing, and visual arts—an 18-day immersive retreat on a historic, prairie-surrounded campus in Lake Forest, Illinois. Residents are provided with private accommodations, dedicated workspaces, chef-prepared communal dinners, and access to inspiring natural and architectural settings. The program is designed to foster uninterrupted creative focus, professional growth, and community among artists. Each year, Ragdale awards over 150 residencies, with a limited number of fee-waiving fellowships that also provide a stipend.
