Description
The Ragdale Residency Program provides artists—including writers, visual artists, dancers, musicians, and interdisciplinary practitioners—with an 18-day immersive experience on a historic campus in Lake Forest, Illinois. Residents receive private living and work spaces, chef-prepared communal dinners, and access to 20 acres of prairie land, fostering uninterrupted creative time and a supportive, collaborative community. The program encourages applications from both emerging and established artists and is committed to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. A limited number of fellowships are available, offering full coverage of residency fees and a stipend.
