Description
The Resident Research Award, administered through the SIR Foundation’s Grants & Awards program, provides residents and fellows an opportunity to attend and present scientific research at the Society of Interventional Radiology’s Annual Scientific Meeting. Its purpose is to expose young researchers to the meeting as they pursue careers in interventional radiology.
The award supports participation in the scientific meeting rather than the conduct of a new research project. Recipients receive travel support and complimentary registration to share original research through an oral presentation. The 2027 Annual Scientific Meeting takes place in Los Angeles, bringing together trainees, early-career professionals, and experienced interventional radiologists to explore research, techniques, and technology advancing patient care.
