Description
This award enables surgical residents to dedicate a full year to mentored research in basic, translational, clinical, health services, surgical education, or bioengineering/information technology fields. The program aims to foster professional development and advance academic surgical science by supporting residents under the guidance of a Society of University Surgeons (SUS) member. Recipients are required to submit interim and final research reports and present their findings at the Academic Surgical Congress.
