Description
The Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) program, administered by the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy, provides funding to develop and implement substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs within Maryland state, local, and juvenile correctional and detention facilities. The program aims to break the cycle of drug use and violence by supporting evidence-based residential treatment, reentry planning, and aftercare services for individuals during and after incarceration. Priority is given to projects that partner with community-based treatment providers and that offer comprehensive reentry and aftercare support.
