Description
This program provides funding to develop and implement evidence-based substance use disorder treatment and reentry support for individuals in Maryland state, local, and juvenile correctional and detention facilities. The goal is to break the cycle of drugs and violence by reducing substance use, supporting recovery, and improving community reintegration for offenders post-incarceration. Priority is given to projects that partner with community-based treatment providers and offer comprehensive aftercare services.
