Description
This program supports local program administrators in New York State to deliver financial assistance—combining low-interest loans and forgivable grants—to low- and middle-income homeowners for retrofitting their homes against flooding and extreme weather. The goal is to reduce displacement after disasters by improving housing resilience and sustainability, including energy efficiency and electrification upgrades. Selected organizations will be responsible for outreach, loan servicing, construction management, and collaborating with community partners to identify and support eligible homeowners in flood-prone areas.
