The ResMed Foundation supports programs that increase awareness of the dangers of untreated sleep-disordered breathing and knowledge of its symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. The intended audiences include sleep specialists, primary care physicians, educators, and the general public.
Only programs reaching a significant clinical or public population will be considered. The Foundation expects measurable results and outcomes and looks for organizations with competent management and a history of delivering results effectively and cost-efficiently. Institutionally focused continuing medical education programs are not funded in this category.
