The Ohio State University Center for Brain Injury Recovery & Discovery (CBIRD) Pilot Awards provide seed funding for interdisciplinary research teams to develop innovative, high-risk projects focused on advancing solutions for chronic brain injury. These one-year awards are designed to help teams generate pilot data, foster new collaborations, and position themselves for future extramural funding and impactful publications. Projects must address chronic brain injury within CBIRD's key research areas and demonstrate potential for significant advances in understanding, prevention, or treatment.
