Description
Responsive Grants provide a streamlined opportunity for nonprofits to seek timely support from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. Funding can cover operating expenses or specific projects and initiatives addressing a clearly defined organizational or community need. The program supports organizations serving New Hampshire and selected bordering communities in Maine and Vermont, including organizations headquartered elsewhere that currently provide programs in the service area.
The Foundation aligns requests with available philanthropic funds according to issue area, geographic focus and populations served. Applications explain how funding will meet a current need or build capacity to advance organizational goals, and how programs and services build communities where everyone can thrive, including people facing barriers to access. Information about applicants’ work and community needs may also be shared with donor-advised fundholders.
