The ReThink.CEE Fellowship is a year-long, non-resident policy research program run by the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF). Its mission is to foster innovative policy thinking and amplify the voices of next-generation leaders from Central and Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans, and the Eastern Partnership countries. Fellows conduct independent research on a regional policy issue of their choice, culminating in a policy paper aimed at regional and international stakeholders. The fellowship provides professional development, mentorship, access to the GMF network, skill-building workshops, and opportunities for publication and media exposure. The program aims to strengthen regional expertise, expand policy impact, and build a vibrant alumni network engaged with the transatlantic policy community.
