Description
The RETROFIT NJ Program is a $75 million pilot initiative from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) designed to fund comprehensive, large-scale retrofit projects that drive significant energy and carbon emissions reductions across buildings, campuses, and multi-building facilities in New Jersey. The program emphasizes integrated, holistic approaches, including on-site renewable energy, energy storage, electrification, refrigerant replacement, and energy efficiency upgrades. Its goal is to accelerate the adoption of advanced, environmentally friendly building systems and create replicable models for the state's clean energy transition.
