Description
The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets administers the 2026 Agricultural Fairgrounds Infrastructure Improvement Program through RFA 0398. The program supports physical improvements to county and local fairgrounds across New York State, with the goal of enhancing the experience of visitors and exhibitors at agricultural fairs.
Funding supports construction, renovation, rehabilitation, installation, acquisition, repair, or replacement of fairground buildings, equipment, and permanent or temporary facilities used to house or promote agriculture. It also supports improvements to water systems, restrooms, septic systems, and stormwater management systems on fairgrounds or in fairground buildings. The program serves qualifying agricultural or horticultural corporations and county extension service associations that sponsor annual fairs or expositions promoting agriculture and domestic arts.
