Description
Florida Housing Finance Corporation uses this request for applications to finance affordable multifamily housing in Broward, Duval, Hillsborough, Lee, Orange, Palm Beach, Pinellas, and Polk counties. Eligible work includes new construction, rehabilitation, and acquisition with rehabilitation. Developments may serve the general population or older residents, including through elderly assisted living facilities.
The program requires income-restricted units, units for extremely low-income households, and, for most developments, units linked to referrals for people with special needs. The 2026-202 RFA proposed alternating an award between Lee and Polk counties, beginning with Polk.
