Description
The RGC Research Fellow Scheme (RFS) and RGC Senior Research Fellow Scheme (SRFS), administered by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council, are prestigious five-year fellowships designed to provide substantial research funding and significant relief from teaching and administrative duties. The program aims to empower outstanding Associate Professors (RFS) and full Professors (SRFS) at UGC-funded Hong Kong universities to focus on research, while nurturing and mentoring the next generation of local research talent. Each year, up to ten fellows in each scheme are selected across all academic disciplines. The award supports salary costs for relief teachers, research staff, equipment, travel, and dissemination.
