Description
The RGC Research Fellow Scheme (RFS) and RGC Senior Research Fellow Scheme (SRFS), administered by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council, are annual fellowship programs supporting exceptional Associate Professors (RFS) and full Professors (SRFS) at UGC-funded universities in Hong Kong. These fellowships provide five years of funding and significant relief from teaching and administrative duties, enabling recipients to focus on research and the development of early career researchers. Awardees receive the title "RGC Research Fellow" or "RGC Senior Research Fellow" and are expected to advance their fields while mentoring the next generation of research talent in Hong Kong.
