Description
The Research Grants Council (RGC) Research Fellow Scheme (RFS) is designed to provide substantial, sustained support to outstanding mid-career researchers at the Associate Professor rank within Hong Kong’s UGC-funded universities. The fellowship relieves awardees from most teaching and administrative duties for five years, enabling them to focus on research and the development of early-career researchers and postgraduate students. The scheme is highly competitive, with up to ten fellowships awarded annually across all academic disciplines.
