The RGC Research Fellow Scheme (RFS) and Senior Research Fellow Scheme (SRFS) provide sustained research funding and significant relief from teaching and administrative duties for exceptional mid-career and senior academics at UGC-funded universities in Hong Kong. Each year, ten fellowships are awarded under each scheme, supporting recipients for up to five years to focus on impactful research and to nurture the next generation of researchers.
