This award supports promising medical students, DO students, and those in combined degree programs (e.g., MD/PhD, DO/PhD, MD/MPH, DO/MPH) who intend to pursue careers as physician-scientists in rheumatology. The program provides up to two years of mentored research training, enabling recipients to gain critical experience and skills to become independent investigators in the field. The research must be relevant to rheumatic diseases and aligned with the mission of the Rheumatology Research Foundation.
