Funds large-scale R&I projects that demonstrate and deploy innovative decarbonisation solutions for energy-intensive industries in the EU.

--- ## Description This grant supports research and innovation projects aimed at accelerating the deployment of cutting-edge technologies to decarbonise energy-intensive industrial processes. The goal is to bring cost-effective, clean products to market, strengthening the competitiveness, sustainability, and resilience of EU industries. Projects should address one or more of the following technology areas: - Managing the carbon cycle (including carbon capture, utilisation, and storage—CCU/CCUS) - Clean energy usage in production (electrification, hydrogen integration, renewable energy storage, and waste heat utilisation) - Circularity and resource efficiency (improving material, energy, and water efficiency, and reducing raw material consumption and emissions) Applicants are expected to deliver operational demonstrators, credible business plans, and clear pathways to market deployment. Proposals should include a strong industrial leadership component, involve relevant stakeholders (including SMEs), and plan for dissemination, exploitation, and communication.
