Description
The RI Experiential Learning Navigator (RIEXL) is a free online resource presented by the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training and sponsored by the Governor’s Workforce Board. It makes career awareness, career exploration, and work-based learning opportunities accessible to Rhode Island educators and students throughout the year. Educators can use the navigator to find experiences that connect classroom learning with the world of work.
Employers can share meaningful career-based learning opportunities, engage with schools, and connect with future talent. Activities range from career speakers and workplace tours to internships, industry projects, mentorships, and apprenticeships. Through its partnership with Junior Achievement of Rhode Island, RIEXL also provides employers with educator connections and guidance on engaging with schools and students.
