Description
The Richard and Mary Finkelstein Student Travel Award, offered by the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), helps students and eligible recent graduates attend ASM Microbe 2027 and share their scientific research. It supports conference travel and registration rather than a separate research project, connecting attendance assistance with opportunities to present research at the meeting.
Each awardee will present a poster and will also be invited to give a short presentation of their abstract during the meeting. Abstracts selected for travel awards are automatically accepted for presentation at ASM Microbe 2027 and receive priority consideration for an oral presentation slot. The travel award application process is separate from regular conference abstract submission.
