Description
The Rikkers Master Clinician Award, established by the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) in 2013, honors an outstanding clinical surgeon who exemplifies the highest standards of clinical practice. The award is presented annually to a member of the SSAT who demonstrates excellence in clinical surgery. Nominations are solicited from the SSAT membership, and a dedicated committee selects the recipient based on the nominator's submitted materials. The winner is recognized at the SSAT Annual Meeting during Digestive Disease Week.
