Description
Mitacs partners with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to support undergraduate student mobility from Canadian universities to German universities and research institutions. The competitive RISE-Globalink Research Internship operates within DAAD’s RISE Germany program, offering research projects supervised by doctoral students in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, earth science, physics, and closely related fields.
Placements last at least 10 weeks, ideally approximately three months. Mitacs supports travel and living expenses, while DAAD provides insurance and practical assistance with accommodation, visa and work-permit information, and research arrangements. The working language is English, and German language proficiency is not required. A Canadian supervisor is not required to apply.
