Description
The Explorers Club’s Rising Explorer Grant helps young researchers turn scientific ideas into real-world field research. The program supports field sciences across disciplines, including biology and ecology, wildlife conservation, environmental science, archaeology and anthropology, and marine and freshwater studies. Projects must be genuine scientific investigations designed to generate new knowledge, rather than adventures, travel experiences, or school field trips.
The program aims to launch careers in science by giving young explorers resources and confidence to pursue questions, test ideas, and contribute to human knowledge and the well-being of the planet. Education and outreach are also part of the program, including sharing findings through publications, public presentations, social media, and collaboration with the Club’s education partners.
