Description
The River Valley Health Fund provides grants to support projects that improve the health and well-being of residents in the Ohio Valley region, particularly in select communities and counties in West Virginia and Ohio. The fund prioritizes initiatives that address health education, healthcare services for vulnerable populations (including children, at-risk elderly, and indigent individuals), nutrition education, health screenings, food insecurity, and access to primary healthcare and dental care. The program continues the charitable outreach of the former Ohio Valley Medical Center and East Ohio Regional Hospital.
