The River Valley Health Fund, managed by the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV), provides grants to support initiatives that improve health and well-being for residents of the Ohio Valley. The fund was established to continue the charitable mission of the former Ohio Valley Medical Center and East Ohio Regional Hospital, with a focus on vulnerable children, at-risk elderly, and indigent populations. Priority is given to projects addressing health education, healthcare and nutrition education, screenings, food insecurity, and provision of primary healthcare or dental care.
